Perth Scorchers crowned BBL champs for the fourth time

 The Perth Scorchers have made history by becoming the first BBL club to claim four titles after crushing the Sydney Sixers by 79 runs in the big bash final at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium.

Courtesy of a whopping 76 not out from 41 deliveries from English star Laurie Evans, the Scorchers posted a 6-171 total against an undermanned Sixers squad.

Evans' big total was part of a 104-run partnership alongside Ashton Turner, who chipped in with 54 off 35.
