On Wednesday I decided to take a different route to the office and it was just 5am... so I went along Guildford Road and saw that the MacDonald's in Maylands was open... and quite busy.So I stopped in and ordered a flat white and a yogurt and cereal [healthy food - what's the world coming to??]
Now the coffee was OK but the experience was pleasant and the wifi free so I decided to try them again this morning.
So, Macca's was a blase of light... I gathered my writing stuff - journal, diary, netbook and books to read... but when I got to the front door there was a sign - Restaurant closed use drive through... no explanation just "piss off it is inconvenient to be open this morning...
Not sure I will try then again.
Big companies are like that, aren't they... but a few million $$$'s of ads will be spent to get me back when I was there in the first place.
