Dr John Schindler in his book, "How to LIVE 365 Days a Year," stats that 50% of those seeking medical aid today have emotionally induced illness. In other words, unhealthy emotions cause and contribute to illness. Whether a person is well or ill, generating the healthy emotions of cheerfulness, determination and courage produce salutary results. The following guidlines are based upon the sage observations of Schindler's book:
Like your work. Work is therapy and liking your work will be constant stimulus to your health emotions.
Learn to like the people you work with.
Learn to accept your adversities. By taking setbacks in your stride, you can change them into stepping stones for success.
Meet all your problems with decision. Don't turn a problem endlessly over in your mind. Decide whats to be done - then do it.
Make the present an emotional success.
Don't live in the future, but enjoy each moment as it comes along.
"Things turn out the best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out."
John Wooden
